Default 2020 FLSB lowering kits

Hi all,
I am new to riding HD motorcycles. Before I had an Indian Scout Bobber, and when I test drove the FLSB, I like it so much that I bought me one. I'm 5'3" in height and 140lbs, I would like to lower the motorcycle, I been looking around, but i haven't found much options. I would like to if anyone had lower their 2020 FLSB and if it was hard to lower it and have it ruin the riding comfortably. Thank you in advance for the help.

Hi. If you lower the bike, you won't have enough ground clearance for spirited cornering. Better to reduce the seat height IMO.

I have change the seat to a reduce reach seat, and it help a lot. I would like to get at lease about half to an inch lower. Thank you Mart it does make sense that it will mess with my lean when cornering.

Progressive makes some different lenths shocks for the new Softails. A 12.2" length shock should lower the bike about 3/4" in the rear. The rear shock is pretty easy to swap out if you have a motorcycle lift.

I will look in too it. I also saw air shocks. But for right now I'm looking for something that will be easy on my wallet.

I normally do ride with my HD boots and that helps as well.
