Stupid Ape Question
Hi folks,
Just looking to order some apes and a cable set. Question i have is regarding the cables. My Fatboy has 2” risers so if i am ordering 12” apes I am wondering what kit. I need to order:-
- For the extra height (12”)
- For the apes plus risers as that’s the additional height (ie 14””)
- For the apes minus original risers as cables already take them into account from the tree (ie 10”)
- For riserless apes (LA Chopper Tree Huggers) Apes - ???
Likely a daft question but just want to make sure i order the right stuff, first time.

this is for 14” tall handlebars.
then read this to find out the length of upper clutch cable and upper brake line you need.

You can look up your bike and the handlebars (Harley) you want to install and it tells you the parts you need.
