I have one on my Heritage. As you say, it's not a perfect engineering solution, but it serves its purpose. I'd like a little less padding and for it to be a little more firm, but it is what it is.
I also have the Grasshopper and for the price you cant beat it.
I did hear however theyve gone to a little stiffer steel so theres not quite as much give.

I mentioned about it having too much give in my review. Maybe they listened. FWIW, I gave it four out of five stars.

I've got one on my 94 FXSTC, disappointed that it bends and I have to keep bending it back upright.
It probably won't last long and will eventually snap.
