Where is the leather?

Default Where is the leather?
I have an 18 Heritage and can't tell what is leather or vinyl on this bike.
Any ideas?

I thought the bags were real leather covering a hard plastic shell. Cant think last time Harley offered a leather seat, or any mainstream bike co. Just not good in the rain.

I think I saw an HD ad that said they are leather

I really don’t think they are. They look and feel very vinyl like to me

The bags and seats are vinyl, although I think the “textured” trim might be leather. I’m not sure about that though.

Saddlebag covers are leather. If you don't believe me, remove the saddlebags and look at the edges. It's leather over molded plastic. Seat is vinyl.

I’ve done that. I’ve never seen leather with a woven cloth back so I’m saying vinyl.

Some models had leather skirts on the seat but that was some time ago ..
