My bike is a year old so didn't fog enough to put a noticeable stain under the glass. I doubt you'll be able to clean that.

I like the looks and function of the stock speedo on my bike, if my glass was stained enough to bother me, I'd look into getting a warranty replacement then drill holes in the back of the new speedo to prevent future fogging.

It is very difficult to remove the glass, plus it is not coated and will scratch terribly if you try to clean it, don't ask me how I know....

my 98 and 06 electraglides both had guages fog up, I think the fuel was most common. I tried drilling a vent hole but it seemed like they should breathe anyway. I believe the incandescent bulb helps clear the fog when I started riding. After what I've experienced I would ignore it if possible.
