I tried one of the DK catch cans. It worked pretty well. But I eventually moved to having one hose coming off each breather bolt, exiting the backing plate of the ventilator through a hole that I drilled under each bolt and routing them down beside the engine and then along the right frame tube and venting them downward right where the swingarm pivots. Before that I was removing my AC frequently and dumping the catch can frequently also. While it was never close to being full it did collect watery sludge which was rusting the hollow threaded tube that attached the top of the cannister to the bottom. Since routing the hoses directly to ground I have only had my AC off once to check to make sure the hoses were staying in place. You can see the rear hose in the picture but not the front hose. They're both routed between the pushrod tubes before going further down. Standing in front of the bike they are barely noticeable.
If they're making a difference in heat I haven't noticed it.
The spots on the top half of the butteryfly valve are from the stock setup that had the breather tubes venting into the intake.
I've yet to see anything on the garage floor, or anywhere that I've parked my bike.

The stock AC is for the flde is more restrictive than what you have there I believe. Comparing the open ac from dk to that of my stock ac... it's no comparison imo. Clearly the motor will be drawing cool, clean air...
So going to stick with that. Plan on getting some slip ons and tuner soon too
