Looks pretty neat, the only thing I can't tell is if it's going to be pinlock anti fog compatible. Riding in cooler weather, I can personally attest to the effectiveness of a pinlock equipped helmet as it will not fog at all inside.
I watched the video twice and I don't recall seeing or hearing exactly how the technology will make riding safer. The Ironman "talk to the computer" stuff is cool, but for me it's just a distraction. I would have liked to hear about the proximity alerts, etc. That said, I usually know what's around me. What will make me safer is the distracted guy in a car or truck knowing I'm there. How will that helmet help?
It may be the future (or not), but the biggest con is that this has been tried repeatedly and failed, so I'd steer well clear of any crowdsourcing option and not bother looking into it at all until it's mass produced by a reputable manufacturer.
If you're not familiar with the saga of the "Skully", you might want to look into it, it's probably the most high-profile smart-helmet failure so far, but there are others too.
I played the video twice to make sure that I heard the guy correctly - sounded like he said six pounds for this helmet. That will be a deal breaker for a lot of people.

I switch back and forth between a modular and a skid lid depending on the ride. The main reason I'd want something like this is the rear view cameras. Peripheral vision is severely limited with full face. Mirrors can only show so much.
