Pegs Don't Fit?

I installed HD Diamond Black grips and bought a matching shifter peg. I go shopping for foot pegs in the same Diamond Black design to finish it off but the website says they won't fit my 2020 LRS. Aren't foot pegs pretty universal? What would be different?

The mount, some are female, most are male.

Ran into this on my wife's new 2020 Softail Standard. The female bracket on the new Softails is a lot wider than the older bikes. Normally there is a 1/2 gap on the older bikes on the new ones it is more like 3/4 to an inch. Kuryakn supposedly makes an adapter for putting some older style pegs on the newer bikes, but I haven't tried them out yet. I was waiting to see if the manufacturers are going to start making pegs to fit the newer Softails. Please post up what you find or end up doing.

DK sells one too. I have it, works great. Much preffer to give them bussiness over crapyakin

I have been waiting on Performance Machine to come out with matching pegs for my PM Contour grips that will fit. They said they are working on them and hopefully will be for sale in a month or 2.
