Define lower. 1", will be fine 2"+ will need a shorter kickstand as it will stand up too high. Watch where the kickstand hits the primary with a shorter one, may need to address.

I have air, on both my FXBB and FLFB even wen dropped full , the stock jiffy still works perfect. You just have to tilt the bike to the right wen it is the lowest position to get out but that's it.
