Default Heritage keys

Could someone tell me if the locking saddle bags and the fork lock take the same key? Heritage Classic.

Iceman thanks. The dealer I bought my 2021 through traded a Fatboy to another dealer to get the bike I wanted. It was raining when I picked it up on a trailer. When I got home I found the user manual for the Heritage and the user manual for the Fatboy in the saddlebag. Also two sets of keys. One set of two keys worked in the saddlebag locks, but not the fork lock. The other single key didn't work in anything. I mailed the Fatboy manual and key to the dealer. They have a set of keys on order for my Heritage fork. I don't want to have to mess with different keys. This should be fun.

Wow...your instinct was right. Seems like someone failed to match keys/books to bike(s). Yes, on the 2021, a single key (two w/ bike) opens both bags & locks the fork. Enjoy that new ride!

I have a feeling that the bags got switched on my bike also. Not with the Fatboy obviously, but another Heritage.

Yeah, one key should work for the bags and fork lock. That’s the way my ‘19 works.

When I bought my 19 Deluxe from the dealer I began to select accessories. I ordered Heritage bags. They ordered the key barrels to match the fork lock.

Went by the dealers yesterday to pick up my back ordered heel shifter and quick mount hardware. The keys they ordered 22 days ago are still not in. The service manager wants to wait until they arrive and see if they work in the fork lock. Then he will order new locks for the bags. It's 1 1/2 to 2 hours to the dealer. On the good side it's nice riding.
