I posted a link to another thread below, that shows my stock seat and the Saddlemen in comparison pictures that clearly shows the difference in lateral and vertical positioning. So for someone who doesn't need to move up and back the stock risers might be fine, even if the factory seat is burning their backside after an hour in the saddle. But given I needed to come up and back the extended risers kept my reach the same as the factory seat, but with a much better seat quality. About the only thing worse than a burning butt is the kink in the back of the neck you get when having to reach out or down too far when gripping the bars. Hope this helps.

Very helpful info, thank-you very much. Definitely interested but I'll probably keep putting some miles in the stock seat to get a solid idea of what I need. I want to avoid doing new cables, so I'd rather stick with 4" risers if possible. At the moment I'm looking at both the Saddlemen and the C&C.

Thanks again!

They can, lots of choice if you look around,

https://deadbeatcustoms.com/forbidde...022.1634547155

or different gauge mounts if you want to run T bars,

https://deadbeatcustoms.com/biltwell...022.1634547155

but depending how high / wide you go, you will need wire extensions for the lcd as well as the usual handle bar controls / throttle wire / clutch cable / brake line extensions.

I put HD risers from a Slim or similar model that added 2 more inches. I had to get wiring extensions but the cables were OK. Kind of am pain getting the wiring in the existing space. The added rise and pullback made the ride much more comfortable.

Going by the look of those, just a riser with the same bolt pattern could work and use the Harley top clamp which houses the gauges?

Well yes, assuming that, but as they say, "Assumption is the mother of all **** ups".

You'll only be guaranteed a fit by buying both together.

As Chunker says above you could use HD parts, the Breakout has the same digital set up, chrome 4" riser, or in the HD P&A catalogue there are these in 1 or 1 1/4" pattern,

If your looking for a seat also. Do that first. I needed 2 inches back. I replaced the seat, and got the 2 inches I needed.
In the last 20 years Ive owned 3 Harleys. The one constant is all the stock seats sucked.

What seat did you go with that set you back a couple of inches?
