Curious if anyone is using the "superbrace" fork brace on their 18+ softail, thats noticed any difference in handling. Been checking out most of the videos pertaining to fork support, and that the added piece of mind might go hand in hand on my 21 bob. With being a fairly new rider, the only other bike i've had for 3 years was a used 05 Sportster 1200 custom that had 12k on the clock, with the 21" front wheel. The bars would shake a bit around 45 mph, but smooth out around 50+, but the bike soon broke down right about the time of falling on hard times to which the the "repo man" went off in the sunset back in 2015. But im back in the saddle again with the 21 baja orange bob, and the shake in the bars is still in the back of my mind, Yeah i found out the hard way that Harley wont play, you miss a payment and the repo man comes a knockin lol.
I don't have a fork brace on this bike but any bike I've used them on the front end works better with them. Bikes seem to point better with a fork brace with less/no understeer mid corner when you're hooning about in the twisties at warp speed.
My next purchase for this bike (FXBB) will be a fork brace . After fitting a fork brace you will notice that your fork seems a little softer while riding and you may need to add 10 or 20 mills of fork oil or even add a little pre-load.They feel softer as there's no binding in the fork action.

Yeah man, thanks for the feedback, will definitely keep that in my back pocket about adding more fork oil and pre-load, just curious which brace your going with, was thinking of the superbrace myself actually.

I'll either get my son in law to make one as he's wicked good at that **** or yea the superbrace .
You may not have to firm up the front though if you just cruise about , I flog the crap out of my little bobber and like/need to keep the bike up as high in the suspension stroke as I can in corners.
