Just got the Fox 13" to replace my tall HD shock. My browser found a promo for $150 off from Revzilla.

Ideally you install it below the seat.

I'm not sure what shock length is on the Lowrider S.

The one in my bike rides pretty good.
Pretty happy with how my bike sits now, and the extra ride height is nice for riding through winding roads faster.
And there's no "Shock to the spine" issue on any of the rough bumps I've hit yet.
Excellent shock upgrade.

Taking care of my back is the main reason for changing to the longer HD shock and now hoping to improve the ride quality more with the Fox shock.
I am not a twisty rider, so handling is secondary.

the Pre 22 LRS had the 12.6, the 22 up and ST have the 13" which sets the bike about an inch higher...

Stock shock

Up to 2022 model Low Rider S they were the same length as the FLSB, FXBR, FXBRS, FLFB, FLFBS and the Standard. Pretty much everything except the fat bob and the Heritage. They just had different preload adjusters.

The 2023 S and ST with the 117 engine have the tall shock as standard. Its the same actual shock as the Heritage.
