Since my wife purchased her 2021 Heritage last year, I have been searching for some sort of removable bag for inside the saddlebags. So we have found one side is nice to keep empty for large items such as jackets or sweatshirts. Or even purchases on day trips. The other side is for small personal items such as sunglasses, basic tools, extra gloves, etc. Having a soft bag to help keep stuff organized or even to remove - keeping everything together.
Yes, Harley makes bag liners for the hard bag crowd. But as most every late model Heritage owner knows we seem to be the red headed stepchild of the motorcycle world. Meaning there are some aftermarket parts available, but for certain things there are none. Bag liners seem to fall into that category.
Anyway, she has been using an old messenger bag we had which seems to fit nicely. Since I just purchased a 2019, I needed one also. I just found this on eBay. $11.99 American Eagle Black Camo Messenger Bag. It is padded and just the right size for the larger left side. You can stuff it in the smaller right side but it is tight. Just sharing.
Just an fyi, I was looking for something plain, not too large, soft to stuff in the saddlebag and mostly open inside - not too many compartments inside or outside like a laptop bag. Besides, laptop and camera gadget bags are very expensive unless you can find a deal on a used one.
