I can tell ya that my Slim has floorboards and their amazing. First bike in over 20 to have them. They allow you to adjust to multiple positions while riding. I even have the mustache bar with the footrest, and never feel the need to use them. I always hated the look of floorboards, but after using them, I will never want to go back to pegs. So comfortable, hope that helps a little.
Doublefelix:
Here are a few pictures of my 2019 Fatboy S.
I think the pegs are better but for your height you may consider the crash bar for a longer reach. I have the Lindby Bars on Mine. I had them send me the wide rubber strips to install.
I like the setup better. The fourth picture would give you an idea of the leg distance to the peg versus the crash bar. They have pegs for the side of the crash bar for riding but I did not order them.
Also the bike has been lowered in the back 1 1/2" since the new paint job versus the Blue so don't let that visually mislead you.
By the way the picture with me standing behind my bike is a week before I lost 15 pounds and got a True 6 Pack (would have been a 7 but I could not find that extra rib) getting ready
for my Cover Shoot with GQ. So ignore the very small pouch above my belt. You can trust me.
Good luck.
