Well they say 3rd times a charm or something like that but my son decided he needed a new car so couldn’t afford his bike and car together and wanted to sell his bike. I know they would never give him what it was worth in a buy back so I was just going to buy the bike so I could have a softtail again. Problem was it’s a Street bob so the riding position for me was awful (mid controls feel like I’m crouching to take a ****)
Took it to the dealer to trade it for a ‘22 Fat Bob that they had on the floor. Gave $16k for trade but I did have to pay sticker for the FB. Made them switch the cruise control and docking hardware over plus the Fat Bob had screaming eagle pipes (not in the pic) that I’ve already pulled off as I had street cannons from my last FB. I still have my wind screen I just have to find the clamps.
I’m definitely going to 131 on this or my Road King just don’t know which yet.
I’ve went back and forth between Road Kings and Fat Bobs for years when I should have just had both and been done with it.
The funny part was they could not figure out what year the Street Bob was at first because it was a ‘21 114 but was Spruce which is a ‘20 color. When he bought the bike we had a tin swap done by a different dealer.
