6" Biltwell Murdock Pullback riser are now fitted. I also fitted the AN polybushes Brian M

Only finished the install tonight and only covered 10 miles or so before the sun went down. 'Maybe' pullbacks were not what I ideally needed but 6" straight risers. Jury's out on it at the moment but it's early days so we will see how it goes. Certainly a more comfortable position and I am now sitting back in the Saddlemen and not leading fwd which was loading up my lower back and shoulders.

If you actually shoot some power into your m8 with an aftermarket cam and a good exhaust
(Make it sound and feel like a Harley should) you might regret the Polly bushings.

For what it's worth, I put 10" Biltwell Murdoch pull back risers and their low rise bar on my 21 Street Bob with all stock wiring. I don't see why the LRS would be any different if you decided to go straight rider, or taller riser.

6.5 risers with stock bars on a fxlrs is max with stock wiring. Street bob comes with alot more slack.

I'm thinking about either Kraus or Biltwell 6" pullbacks. But I want to fit drag bars, which will bring the bar grips lower than stock but also closer because the bar-ends on the drags will be more swept back. It's tricky trying to work out the final ergos.
I've decided I want to keep the mids because they give better control, weight-shifting and steering input, I just want less of a reach to the bars. It's quite hard to work out whether pull-back risers with drag bars will make the reach better or worse. It's an expensive experiment if it fails.

You can roll the stock bars back quite a bit, which lowers the grips and brigs them closer. Maybe another option.

What do you suggest instead of Polly bushings?

Interesting. Thanks for that. Doesn't make sense, but then again neither does HD half the time.

I run the stock rubber bushings with my 6.5 riser set up.,problem is rubber bushings are no good for the tall bars like lucky 13, they require Polly. There were some claiming that the taller bars with Polly bushings ended up with alot of vibration. More so with aftermarket cams.then again there’s some saying no problems with the Polly bushings.

It's a thought. I'll have a play.

Reading the replies on bushes, maybe it would be better to get the exhaust and camshaft mods done before changing the risers so I can assess how the vibes are with the stock set-up and be guided from there.
