Haven’t had an issue with my ‘19 Heritage since I added a heel shifter.

Internal Adjustment then cable adjustment helped!
Changed the final drive fluid again (4500)mi. Measured what came out. Refilled to the very bottom of the clutch basket with Formula+, almost 5oz less than what I drained out. I previously filled to the recommended spec.
Much, much easier to fin neutral now.

Thanks Folks for your help!

My '18 Heritage was difficult to get into neutral - at least for a while. Eventually, the issue resolved itself. Now days it's pretty easy. I never have a problem with it anymore. What changed? Meh? IDK.

If you put in that much less fluid now, that was killing you. Glad its resolved.

My 2019 Slim was impossible to get into neutral when I purchased it used. Changed the primary fluid, it was over filled. Haven’t had one issue in the last 4k miles. It is easier to go from 2nd down into N rather than from 1st up though.

That is a good point. On my Breakout I try to fill mine just by the oz. from the manual and I have never had an issue.

This subject just came up again in conversation this past weekend. My wife (I mentioned earlier, she has a 2021 Heritage), recalled some folks telling her to shift down from second before you stop rather than doing the whole shift up from first at a stop. Honestly, coming to a stop at slow speeds like that I would rather concentrate on what's around me and the stopping process than trying to find neutral. Seems like a whole lot of extra concentration. I've done it on my 02 Wide Glide but that is a different animal. I tried it on that rental I mentioned earlier and it did not work at all. Believe me, after 3 hours of no neutral, I was trying everything!

How many miles miles do you have? I'm approaching 5000
