Harley is absolutely milking the ever living **** out of the Lowrider S platform. HOLY ****.
I mean they aint wrong for doing it.
FXLRST with some floorboards lets see it happen.
If this had been available two years ago, instead of a Road Glide, I would be rolling on this. Not sure why some have a stick up their *** about pricing. It's 2022 last I checked, not 1990. I want a new truck, it's starting at 60k easy...the world today.
That bike would easily go over 30k here in northern cali, sf bayarea. I myself prefer the old school fxrt fairing (less sharp angles more rounded) so I bought the s instead and if I really want a faring RWD would be my choice. I like the color and paint scheme though!
My motto is when it comes to motorcycles you only go around once. A dozen years ago we paid 18-20 grand, then another 3-5 grand to get 100 HP. This has 100hp. A paint job this good will cost 4 grand plus the labor to remove/install tins. Everybody wants something for what they paid in the past, except when they go to sell theirs. Then they want the moon. Test ride a ST, it's a fine bike.

I have a Low Rider ST and it is indeed a fine bike. The El Diablo (here in the UK) is Ł6K more than I paid for my ST. The stereo accounts for Ł1K, but the rest is just paint - and the cachet of it being a limited edition. But I could get that paintwork for Ł2K.
Harley quote 105HP and 125TQ for the bike - but that is at the crank and there is probably 15% off that lost to the primary, gearbox and final drive. However, a simple pipe change and dyno tune got me 109HD and 125TQ at the rear wheel. My ST cost me Ł19.3K out the door here ($22.8K), vs. Ł25.5K ($30.2K) for the El Diablo.
Its a lovely looking bike, but the added price is greater than my perception of the added value.
I'm sure they will sell all 1,500 of them though....
