it’s on the Website under oem parts. Just make sure you order the front engine mount for the lower fairing support - they miss that piece because it’s on a different schematic sheet.

Genuine question here. I'm not being facetious or taking the rise, but why do so many folks stateside like sticking on big nose fairings so much? I like the look of the LRS precisely because it hasn't got one and I find the standard S has pretty clean aerodynamics. I can ride all day at 90 mph without feeling any strain or fatigue and the wind blast there is, is clean, turbulence free and not overly noisy. And I consider I'm qualified to judge those factors because I've come from big adventure bikes which can be a nightmare for wind noise and turbulence.

Is it form or function? Each to their own of course, just wondering.

Here in Minnesota alot of the riding is in cooler weather so a fairing makes the ride alot more comfortable plus I'm getting old and comfort is a priority nowadays

"big nose fairings" "can be a nightmare for wind noise and turbulence" That is correct can and not has to be. Does the smaller than Street Glide or Road Glide LRST fairing quality for big nose? Also I know the original was well tested in the wind tunnel. I would expect with the right windshield for your build and preference noise and turbulence should not be an issue. I see it has factory wind vents to control air pressure to eliminate turbulence and buffeting. I too have experienced noise and buffeting over the years on different bikes as well as on my factory Sport Glide fairing until I got a windshield with vents and lowers. Aside from all that their is cold and rain. Many times I've been caught in rain where my fairing was much appreciated. Last like Bbakken this morning I rode Interstate to deliver my bike for a detailing appointment. 41 degrees let me tell you I really appreciated my fairing leathers and thermals. At 57 I am already less cold tolerant than I used to be.

I have a JD FXRT fairing on my LR S, no turbulance or buffeting no matter how fast I ride. I've rode every fairing Harley has ever put on a bike, and the FXRT is the best IME.

Not everyone likes the same things as you do, or think the way you do. If you’re really interested in the intelligent answer, then let’s put it this way: it has everything to do with versatility, comfort, and at the same time, sportiness. The Low Rider S offers the power, the height, but the Sport Glide does not offer the things people like about the low rider: height, power, versatility.
My bike has the benefits of a Road Glide, but it is not a Road Glide (posture and weight). If I wanted a Riad Glide I would have bought a Road Glide. Again, people want things they cannot get all in one bike, so it is perfectly ok to personalize to wishes and wants. That’s why people like Harleys I suppose: the easiness to swap parts between bikes.

BTW, this is America. We do what we want here.

When I called jd custom’s to place my order they told me it comes with everything and it did. That st is nice but … a lot of labor, that will be worth it.

TCMT (eBay and Amazon) will likely make an LRS fairing in the near future. The quality of their fairing are pretty dam good. Fitment is ok, but no issues that are significant enough to bother or notice. They seem to mimic all Harley parts.
