Default 2022 LRS Fairing. Available to buy it yet?

Anyone know if the new 2022 Low Rider LRS's fairing is available to buy from HD yet? Cost?

Searched this site on it and couldn't find any post.

I did it to my 22 LRS and the fairing, painted came out to about 2k and I installed it myself in 2 hours. It’s that easy if you’re putting on a 22 MY

do you have the parts list? so if we wanted one we could take it to the dealer and just order it?

I'm not 100% on both of these, but I believe the fairing is both VIN # and purchaser name locked. Meaning you have to have both the vin # and be the original purchaser of the bike (and the factory also wants a reason for the replacement), i.e an accident with an insurance estimate, etc.if you're not the original purchaser I believer you will have to give something showing ownership and vin #.

I know for certain as of right now they are VIN locked.

I'm sure there are ways around this all somehow, or maybe some dealerships are more flexible than others. I'm sure in a few years this will change or replicas will start popping up for sale.

I was going to try to get the st fairing for my 2020, I decided to go with jd custom’s fxrt fairing. This video is partially why.
I kinda think the st fairing looks better but I figured if I am going with a full frame mounted fairing the fxrt might be better for wind protection. That and it’s pretty much bolt on.

Does anyone know which parts you don't need if you are updating an earlier softail fairing such as a '21 Sport glide?

I believe this to be true at first but now you can order whatever you want. Dealers will take your money.

I ordered everything to put the ST fairing on my '21 Sport Glide. The only thing that was vin locked is the mount that goes to the frame. I managed to get one through some back channels, but it is not something that I could duplicate. I am going to take measurements on the bracket so that if anyone wants to build their own they can. If you have access to sheet metal and a brake you could easily make one.
I purchased the rest of it from Surdyke before the MOCO put the stop to them selling discounted parts. Even if you had to purchase everything retail it would be less than $2k. Just depends on what you want to do, but for me the extra $$$ into my Sport Glide is still way less than buying the ST new, especially when the dealerships are tacking on surcharges of up to $5k. The only thing that is a little bit of a hassle will be welding the attachment points to the frame for the ST mounting bracket. I want to get the triple trees powder coated anyway, so that will be a good time to do that. If you have a '22 model, the mounting points are already there, so not a problem.
