You should get the ones you can safely secure around your ear, because the wind will knock out the in-ear ones easily. I use an intercom to listen to music with a full face helmet; keeps the sound nicely inside; when I'm not using my fairing stereo.

I wear bluetooth hearing aids and above 40-50 mph I can't hear any music, I do wear a half helmet though.

Don't use them.
I did experimentation with quite a few wireless earbuds and while I found some that were fine while wearing a helmet I realized that their weight and the way they secure themselves into your head makes them pound on your eardrums. Which will damage your hearing.
I use wired earbuds instead for this reason.

If you want wireless, you should get something like a Cardo Packtalk.

I use airpod pros with comply foam tips. They stay in pretty well, but when using a helmet with lots of ventilation like my Simpson they sometimes come out when you get up in the 90-100mph range.
recently ordered a Lexin G16 to install on both my helmets, gonna see if it’s better or worse for music and navigation.

I used a set of Jabra buds for about a year. They worked OK, but it was a pain sticking them in and removing them from my ears every time I put on or took off my helmet. Plus the charge would only last 3 - 4 hours. Not good for long trips.

I went the Cardo route with a Freecom 4+ unit. They provide JBL speakers that fit in the pockets of my Bell Pit Boss 1/2 helmet. One nice thing I found is that the system is speed sensitive. They automatically get louder at highway speeds and more quiet at city speeds. The charge is good for over 12 hours continuous use.

TM, are you connected to the bike, or just your phone? Did you have to install the WHIM or some other system?
