Default 2137 code gremlin

So I have a 21 fxlrs. I have the moons fly eye led headlight in a dyna bucket with the moons adapter harness.. I’ve had about 3k worry free miles. Now all of a sudden after about an hour of riding I get a code and the little red light in the dash. It’s the code for hi beam short. I pulled it off and checked all the connections and re greased them with dielectric grease, no wires exposed etc. but after about 45 min I get the error. Hi and low beam still work fine even with the code. I emailed moons and they said to reset the ecm??? I’ve cleared the codes but the error comes back. Anyone have any ideas of what could be causing it to throw codes all of a sudden? Nothings changed with the bike and now I’m getting codes.

Found this:

The code is from the BCM (body control module) and indicates a voltage present on the low beam circuit when high is turned on

Turns out the LED headlight assembly has a small voltage feedback between the high and low beams. As the lights heat up, the feedback voltage increases until it reaches the point of triggering either the low or high short to voltage codes above. Turns out the simple fix is to install a resistor with low enough resistance to bleed the feedback current but not cause a large draw on the circuit. A 2.2k ohm resistor has done the trick for me. I opened the back of the headlamp connector and soldered a 2.2k ohm 1/4 watt resistor between the low beam terminal and the negative terminal and another between the high beam terminal and the negative terminal. I haven’t had any problems in the 2 years since.

interesting.. but it’s just weird to me that it is doing it all of a sudden. I had days last month that I rode 500 plus in a day and no codes.
