Hey folks. Got my first ABS bike. I figured I'd be here after this...Took my wheels off to get tires mounted. After getting everything back together my ABS light is flashing. I pretty confident I have them indexed correctly but maybe I didn't. Note, I have not taken the bike out for a ride yet - only started it in the garage. Here are pics of my sensors. Did I mount them incorrectly? Or do I simply need to ride before the light goes out? The wires are not pinched at either sensor.
Thanks guys, I wanted to be sure the sensors were correct. I do have a service manual and followed the procedure but have never had an ABS bike. And yes, I've noticed that the abs light flashes when you start up the bike but I've only had it a couple weeks and about 300 miles. My recollection is that the light flashes upon startup and promptly goes out after the bike is running.
