My wife is in a similar situation. She has a 21 Heritage. She wants them higher, but probably not back any further. A simple riser with no bend may be the solution. She is not sure. I was lucky when I purchased my used 19 that there were four 2018+ Heritage bikes in the showroom that day so it was much like a "Goldilocks" situation for me. There was one with stock bars. Two others with various heights and shapes. The one I purchased had drag bars. The height was good but the spread and pullback as all wrong. With all that and my description & measurements of my 02 Wide Glide with mini apes, the parts tech was able to help me narrow down what was right for me.
I keep looking for a time when one of the local dealers happens to have various bikes (hopefully all 2018+ Heritages) that she can really get the feel for what she wants. Before. Dealership pic Current Current with the 02 WG
Update: As I just posted in some other threads, my wife finally decided on KST for hers. Then, by circumstance and pure luck she purchased those actual bars from a friend and got a good deal late last season. Long story.
