Default 6" Pullback Risers on a Heritage

She wanted her bars higher and further back, but she really likes the stock Heritage bars. She couldn't decide after more than a year of riding this bike, so I put 6" pullback risers on it. Good for her, sucks for me... I'm all cramped riding it now. Oh well, it's hers... I just pay for it Tomorrow I'll go grab a new brake line and it"ll be finished.

need a good side shot, i cannot picture these looking right on that model. i may be surprised, but i would have thought a different bar would be the better looking choice.

cant tell from those angles, but if it works and she likes it, that is all that matters.

My wife is in a similar situation. She has a 21 Heritage. She wants them higher, but probably not back any further. A simple riser with no bend may be the solution. She is not sure. I was lucky when I purchased my used 19 that there were four 2018+ Heritage bikes in the showroom that day so it was much like a "Goldilocks" situation for me. There was one with stock bars. Two others with various heights and shapes. The one I purchased had drag bars. The height was good but the spread and pullback as all wrong. With all that and my description & measurements of my 02 Wide Glide with mini apes, the parts tech was able to help me narrow down what was right for me.

I keep looking for a time when one of the local dealers happens to have various bikes (hopefully all 2018+ Heritages) that she can really get the feel for what she wants.

Before. Dealership pic

Current

Current with the 02 WG

I just finished installing a new/longer brake line, and took a pic looking forward from the rear..

We went for a ride last night, and she's thrilled with the new position of everything. She does pretty dang good for a 60 year old.

Wind deflectors for the hands but then no jacket for the arms.

Nice looking bike though.

They're not wind deflectors. They keep rocks and bugs from hitting her fingers, jeez!

Where did you find the handguards? The ones I have looked at don't list the FLHC.

I got them from Amazon, and have them on both bikes.

I know, a bit old to ask this question. But did you do wiring extensions or a longer clutch cable with that new riser?
