Default Lorecapo's Standard

Sold my LRS 114 last fall I restarted a new project with a 2021 Standard 107.

The idea is making a better bike than my old one with the same money (I know I won't make it...).
By now I changed the front end with one from ODC Suspension (an italian manufacturer that makes wonderful parts strarting from scratch), double front disc (everything coming from an LRS), Original Garage 6.5" risers, high rise Forbidden Moto bar, forward controls with Arlen Mess pegs and Crossthread Cycles levers (also hand ones) and some carbon fiber parts form HCP Carbon (also from Italy):

Now we're working on how to fix the Baja LP6 (I saw the Cali Raised solution but the light seats too high for me), the TRASK 2 into 1 exhaust and the rear tyre and licence plate.

By the end of this week the first step should be finished...
Can't wait to ride it!

I like spoked wheels, what is the front wheel and hub combo I noticed the brake rotors are LRS, same for the rear wheel combo…. Is this a straight drop in set up or did it require special spacers?

The hubs are the original ones only powder coated. I just changed the rear rim with a 4.25” wide in place of the 3”. A couple of spacers were needed in the front to have the rotors aligned to the new position of the calipers in the front end.
Yes the discs and right caliper are coming from an LRS. I’ll swap them in the future if I’ll decide to change the wheels also.

Nice project, so it will be a LRS with spoke wheels and a 107 engine lol...
but I think you have choosen a better fork and also better components to build a sportier bike...

The project just started…
I’ll put 119 cylinders and 475 cam, most probably tubeless aluminum spoke wheels, Trac Dynamics swing arm…

I thought it would have been a pity to make all these changes on a nice bike like the LRS.
With the money I took I arrived at this stage with this one and I’m sure in the end I’ll have a better bike without a bunch of expensive stock parts on my shelter (I don’t sell original parts of my bikes).

Before you buy a cam, check out FuelMoto USA and ask them what you're looking for.
475C is a bit tricky to tune depending on exhaust, and its an old one.
There are probably better new cams out there now.

The 475 is a well known cam though - and the good tuners know how to get the most out of it.

It works well with the S&S Superstreet 2:1 pipe and other S&S parts such as their 55m manifold and Stealth A/C.

I have seen 130HP and 135TQ with this combo on a 117 Low Rider ST - and I will be putting the same cam in my 117 Low Rider ST in the next few weeks.

But....it does come down to making sure the guy that creates the tune knows what he is doing. And low end torque dips are very common with shorty exhausts. With this cam and the M8, a longer pipe is the way to go.

There may be "better" cams available, but the 475 seems to be a solid all rounder and a safe bet. Maybe a touch soft on the bottom end if not tuned properly, so not the right choice for the 2K RPM put-put goobers.

Thanks for the info.
I had the 465c on my LRS and I liked it but it was too “smooth” I would say…
I heard the 475c is more irregular and gives a “crispy” delivery plus a fantastic idle sound.
That’s the reason you I’m thinking on it, but I’m opened to suggestions.

Do you think I should change also the valves and/or the tappets?
When I’ll do the job I won’t have more than 5.000 miles.
