Make sure you find 12" apes with 1.5" diameter for the stock risers. If they are 1" or 1.25" you will need spacers to clamp the bars.
Good luck and post pics when you get them.
Not sure which is the best option - find bars that are 1.5 in the clamp area, use spacers and the stock riser, or just get a new riser that works with a million more bars?

Any advice?
You will have very few options finding 1.5” clamping bars. Not many out there that I could find. MANY more at 1.25” and 1”. 1.25” with spacers will work with stock riser with shims, but 1” bars will not.
I liked the look of the stock risers as they fit the look of the bike well. You can get 1.5”, 2” 2.5”, and 3” spacers for the stock risers here which is what I did. Fat Bob risers
Harley shims for 1.25” bars to 1.5” clamping area. Shims
It all comes down to what look you are going for and how much you want to spend. The spacers and risers lift I bought were nearly as much as just new risers. I like the look of the Trask bars on the Fat Bob so went that route. There are some risers that would look good on the Fat Bob as well. The bike needs something chunky to look right to me. Trask, Big Al’s, San Jose Customs, Kodlin all make chunky risers
