2018 Heritage Classic 107 with 34,000Kms or roughly 21,000 miles on it. The front brake rotor is showing more wear on the inside surface compared to the outside surface. It's very close to the minimum thickness stamped on the rotor and needs to be replaced soon.
Other than the 1986 883 Sporster I had, this is my first single disk FL framed bike. Is this considered normal wear rates for a single disk brake system? I admit I am a hard braker, alway testing threshold braking so that I have the muscle memory in an emergency situation.
I had to change my brake rotor at 20000 kms on the Heritage because it was warped...
same problem on my Low Rider S and also on a previous bike..
seems that the quality is not there...

Not normal, I have never replaced a rotor except for polished (looks) or damaged due to an incident. Front HD polished rotors on my Road Glide have approximately 70k miles on them, rear is factory stock with 85k miles. My Sportster still has the stock rotor form 1991..
Uneven wear is a sure sign that you have an issue with your calipers/brake pads.
on three différent bikes and only on the right side for two of them ?
it's a bit weird...
maybe it has to do with people changing tires without taking precautions

My 2004 at 30,000 was getting it's 4 set of tires. I just usually put a new set of pads on while it's all apart. Mine has the non floating caliper with 4 piston and wear looked pretty even.
Not unusual on a car floating system to see more pad and rotor wear on the piston side.
At 30K, my front and rear were within a few thousands of an inch being at minimum. I replaced them. One was rather rough.
