Weight reduction ideas?
Sub 630 is a good goal, havent weighed my LRS but have exhaust and a Fatbob rear. It would be super cool to be at <600 but man thats a lot and carbon fiber aint cheap. It does help being small to start with, Ive only got 30 pounds on Fran.
Need to weigh the LRS, one thing that stands out when swapping bikes is the front end feels weighty on the LRS compared to the Dyna. Might be me but it just feels heavier during the initial 10 miles.

From above 30 lbs off the bike seems "do-able"
Yet then there is the budget.
Weight loss could get expensive.
Getting a 600 pound Harley down to a competitive 400 pounds, again I love that goal.
But is there 200 lbs in the chassis to reduce? I don't think so.
FWIW For a true performance and seat of the pants feeling, in addition to the projects mentioned by
our co-members, I'd focus on un-sprung weight... tires, rims, rotors, axles, calipers, hubs.
I guess I would ask what is the weight of "King of the Baggers" racing motorcycles?
Have fun with your project
