Weight reduction ideas?

I posed the vehicle weight questions to AI Copilot.
Weight of a:
King of Bagger Race Bike @625 lbs (unknown)
2024 Street Glide @810 lbs (wet)
2024 Breakout @680 lbs (wet)
2024 Suzuki Hayabusa @580 lbs (wet)
2024 Ducati V4 Panigale @420 lbs (unknown)
2008 Sportster @560 lbs (wet)
1977 Yamaha RD400 @375 lbs (wet)
Makes me say, wow, a weight loss on a Harley is a challenge

But I wasn’t delusional. Harley makes a “Cruiser” so it’s heavy, smooth, straight next to a semi.. two up focused. But Harley also makes “sport” cruisers…. A Sportster S and Nightster are both around 450-470 lbs. We can’t blame Harley. They make a light sport cruiser… it’s just not what some of us want.
Often on this site there is a lot of negative talk about the SportsterS & Nightster… but we as Harley enthusiasts should be very proud of those bikes. They are pretty dang lethal in their demographic or class. Instead of saying “Good Job” Harley you made something to compete with Triumph, Engersol, Yamaha and Honda… and it’s right up there if not leading in that class. They don’t make a crotch rocket… so don’t be comparing a Sportster S to a sonic blowdryer bike.
As crossovers we have the Low rider S… ok it’s sorta fast, sorta handles good. Nice bike if your between. But don’t blame Harley that it isn’t crotch rocket light. Cause if they made that you’d all hate it.. you’d say “It ain’t a real Harley” “It ain’t for me” “No class” “sold out” “plastic Junk” and it would be like the other plastic light blowdryer looking bikes out there.
We just need to be realistic and understand what we have. A classy 57 Chevy can be fast on the quarter but it handles like crap and it’s unreliable. We all want the 57 Chevy HotRod and then whine because it’s heavier and doesn’t handle like a Porsche.

The sporty could be cool with a good bit of clean up - new exhaust for starters. And a sport cruiser with 2 of rear travel? WTF?
Looks to me like P-Diddy hooked up with a VROD.
I am biased toward my air cooled engines and the original sporty is the best bike HD ever made, almost a 70 year run. Simple, clean, decent power, and the sweet, sweet sound.
Yeah, anything from a RK on up are heavy. You start adding on your typical Harley rider (no offense to the OP), a sissy bar and/or tour pack with backrest, a saddle bag full of beer & ice and yeah, you got a full load. JK
I am lucky in that my wife has her own bike so I have no worries with weight on my 19 Heritage. In fact, being only 175 lbs. I can take full size, packed luggage without having to worry about any spring adjustments. I would certainly not want a pre-2018 Heritage or one of the "Glides" for my main bike. I like being able to easily control it on hill-starts, parking lots and on gravel.
