Left Side Gas Cap
I would like to just use the stock gas cap but I don’t like the left side cap at all. I wish the tank was just rounded like the new models but it has a recess. Any suggestions would be great.

On my Sport Glide I modified a cap for the left side. I'm not sure how mechanically inclined you are, but it wasn't too hard to take the attaching hardware off the stock cap and put it on the cap I wanted to use.
This is what came out of the stock left side cap.
This is what the underside of the aftermarket cap looked like before modification.
This is the top of the aftermarket cap.
When I took the center screw out of the aftermarket cap this is what was there. I then removed the three Phillips head screws and removed what they were holding.
I then fitted the guts from the stock cap and attached it with the three Phillips screws
It did have to be trimmed to fit in the aftermarket cap.
When I was finished this what it looked like.
If you just want to get rid of the indentation, take the tank off and take it to a painter that does body work. They can fill the indent and repaint it. Or you can get a new late model tank without the indent. They run about $800 primed, not painted. I'm sure if you talk to the dealer they can get one that is painted. It just depends what it is worth to you to get rid of the left cap. It may be the best route would be to buy a bike that only has one cap. That started in 2022.
