I put a 3 Original Garage pullback plate on my 2023 low rider and noticed the front brake line is now way too short. So I searched on here and found part numbers for a longer a brake line from the master to the distribution block. So I ordered this kit, (I dont have it yet) which says it fits my bike, but tonight I peeled back the shrink wrap where I thought the fitting was, and it is a crimped fitting, not a threaded one.
I cant see how this would work. Did Harley change this recently?
There’s a difference between ABS and non-ABS. You are showing a non-ABS, which includes the upper brake line coming from the brake reservoir to the distribution block and the two lower brake lines coming from the distribution block going to the calipers which, according to the parts fiche, is one part. The individual lines cannot be replaced.
Edit - Never mind. I see you figured it out. That’s Harley saving a few pennies and making you spend more.🫤
