Ok, first of all just wanted to say the search feature on this sight SUCKS!![:@] Ok, sorry had to get that out.
I put a new set of bars on a 93 Sportster and the front brake line is now to long. Can you cut out a section of the hard brake line to shorten it up? I think I can take out 6-8" and then reconnect it with a section of brake line and some hose clamps. Will this work and is it safe to do? I know I will have to bleed the brake line and all after doing this, just want to make sure it is Ok to do before I do it. Thanks for you help in advanced. Bryan
Do not f-n do that....... I repeat Do NOT do that!!! It may very well get you ........DEAD!!.
All joking aside..... don't do that! bite the bullet and order the correct length brake line you need.
The hose clamps are what scared me. If it was a verytemporary thing, I may consider compression fittings, but the only way to do it is to replace the line with the correct one..
