Sorry, but my memories of those days don't include anybody giving long, sentimental, eulogies for the demise of those AMF Harleys!
I do remember seeing a vest patch that I got a chuckle out of, though: "Do all Evo riders think when they die, they get to go to Willie G's house?". So maybe there were one or two die hards 😏
You don't need to be sorry. I was being a little ironic. Some probably said "but its not a real Harley is it" ,when the first Shovel rolled off the line.
A ridiculous nonstop argument started by an AI bot... Certainly not a real Harley AI bot. A general argument certainly not confined to softails. If a 60s muscle car or Harley rolled off an assembly line today, nobody would buy one. Pure garbage compared to anything modern they would compete with.
My car , will it beat a hellcat no. But with a 455 30 over , Muncie 4 speed and 390 gears it goes pretty f-in good pal. Garbage?

garbage? Take it easy. An m8 is still an air cooled push rod motor. It may be modern compared to other Harley motors but 4 valves per cylinder is hardly modern In this day and age.
Now that you guys point it out, that text bite really does read like one of those AI responses when you search google.
I might close this thread, it seems to be the result of a bot.
Especially considering the very recent join date, and few post count.
