Yes, and I had to break a rotate the banjo fitting at the master cylinder to allow the controls to roll forward enough. You still might get a code out of that, but it shouldn't cause any real problems. I have a Twintec Twin Scan 4, so I will probably hook it up and see if I can alleviate the code I have in the BCM. If not, I'll take it in and have the dealer do it.

I have the Kraus Raptor 1-1/2" pull back plate - not sure if I need to remove the fairing to install it.

Anyone have experience installing one of these on the ST?

EDIT: From what I can tell, I can get from underneath, just need to use a swivel-adapter on the socket with the bars turned.

Got that Kraus Raptor Plate installed - adds 2" of height and 1-1/2" of pullback.

Wiring is no issue; however, the brake line is just a bit tight.

Definitely feels better; this will work until I can get some new bars and brake and clutch extensions.

If I did try and install an extended brake line, could I bleed the brakes in reverse? From the caliper up towards the master cylinder?
Even if I get a code, I could bring it to the dealer; as long as the brakes actually worked.

And are the clutch extension cables ok to use?

I can't really answer your question about reverse bleeding your brakes. I have a Magnum Shields upper brake line for my LRST, but have as yet not installed it. When I do I plan to use my Daytona TwinTec Twin Scan 4 to bleed the front system. If that fails, I will have to take it to the dealer. If it does work I could probably work something out with you if you wanted to borrow it.

The clutch extension seems to work fine. It replaces the yellow plastic tube on the stock clutch with an aluminum tube that is four, six, or eight inches longer. There is also an extension for the lower cable.

After installing these two components, you reconnect the upper cable. I found that the 4" took up quite a bit of room on the left down tube. I don't know how the 6" and 8" would squeeze into the space.

When Magnum Shielding comes out with a clutch cable for the '25 LRST I will probably replace the whole clutch cable. I'm not thrilled with the plastic parts on the stock units, as I have heard of riders being stranded when a component breaks.

Another solution to lengthening the clutch cable that is free, is to reroute it down the right down tube instead of crossing under the bike. If I had thought of this or heard of it sooner, this is the way I would have gone. I'm not sure how much extra this will give you, but I only needed a little to relieve the tightness at right lock, so I'm pretty sure this would have worked for me.

Hey Mark - where did you get those brake lines?

I may have bought it directly from Magnum. I bought it for my Sport Glide, I just never used it on that bike. I'm not in a big hurry to use it even now.

I checked on J&P Cycles, the Magnum brake line and ABS adapter are available from them, so I would suspect there are other retailers that also carry them.
