I'd try the bar and shield badge.
I think it would look nice on the two tone.

I like the no badge look, If you get tired of that look just put one of the sets back on. Like you said PITA to take them off. Then take the extra set and put them on your wife's car.

Just my 2 cents......I'm on board with the OEM badge looking 'too indian'. Your new badges are a good choice and going with no badge works also.

Of course it's all a personal preference and there's no wrong answer. The "badge" on my 2002 Fat Boy was only a decal anyway when it was new. First repaint I had them put on the 1962 replica badges. Next repaint was a color shift paint with Harley Davidson and the bar & shield ghosted in, not highly visible at all.
The 2024 FLHTP I recently bought has no badges. Ironic for a cop bike? So overall I guess I can do without them. The wife had her 2005 Deluxe original badges removed and replaced with a different badge with her repaint. She likes it just fine.

This is my 3rd Fat Boy, previously owned a 2005 and a 2009. Both had decals rather than actual badges.

The 2005 (top) of course had the classic Fat Boy logo decal/
The 2009 (bottom) had a more "bastardized" version of the logo which I never cared for
the 2025 (middle) of course has an unrecognizable logo that bears no resemblance to a Fat boy logo and vaguely resembles an Indian logo and I dont care for it at all, but at least its a proper badge.

Old ones gone now so the choice is no badge or the proper Fat Boy badges shown in the first post. Definitely cant spend more money on bar/shield badges or any other
at this point

As suggested earlier, when I have some time tomorrow I'm going to temporarily stick the new badges on to see how they look.

Because the badges are curved/cupped to conform to the shape of the tank I dont have a lot of wiggle room in placement. I can adjust the shape of the badge a little bit without visibly damaging them, but not too much. We'll see if I can place them in a way that doesnt look bad with respect to the line of the colors on the tank. I expect the forward "wing" of the logo
is going to wind up crossing the border between the two colors.
