I have a 2019 breakout 114 and I wondering if anyone else has had this issue the bike seems to crank more times than other breakout 114 that I’ve seen I’ve checked the battery and its connections which are all good I haven’t checked the compression release or pulled the crank sensor to check the oil sumping it’s a stock 114 with 1400 miles on it bike runs great no oil out from the breather so my question is are there any other suggestions of things I could check before I go though checking the oil sumping and compression release valves
thanks for any help

1. How old is the battery?
2. Get the battery load tested at a local parts store and compare the cold cranking amps (CCA) from the test to what is listed on the battery. You may show good voltage but not have good amperage for turning the bike over and fast starting.

thanks for the suggestion I did have the battery load tested and it’s fine
Just a suggestion...
If the Battery is fine, generally speaking, an engine needs fuel, air and a spark to fire up.
If it's cranking more times than expected then I would be looking at the Spark Plugs next and making sure that I had a decent spark.
The colour of them will give you a good indication as to whether you are running rich or lean.
A weak spark suggests a problem in the ignition (Coil or Leads).
Also ensure you have fresh fuel in the tank.

thanks for the suggestion I’ll check that out does seem likely to me though only because the bike runs great once it’s started no issues with power whatsoever
When I had a 22 Heritage it done the same thing . Turned out it was the battery even though it tested fine . It was close to 4 years old so I replaced it .
