Blinker lens covers

Blinker lens covers
Since installing LED blinkers front and rear I've lost 2 lens covers. I see that the blinker housing has a small ring gasket and the new LED's also have their own gasket, wondering if this is some how preventing the lens cover from fully locking into place. Anyone else experiencing this or just me?

Took a knife and trimmed housing gasket back picking up maybe a 16th of an inch, lens covers seemed to be fully seated before but maybe just a hair not, hopefully trimming that gasket back will make the difference.

As an alternative, you can run a couple of turn of 3M electrical tape around the light/lens. Make sure the tape is centered on the seem between the cover and the housing.
Both my bikes have black trim, so the tape disappears from about 3 feet away.
