it's logical that both bikes have a diiferent shock, ST has bags for carrying some stuff...
Had you known this information before you bought your bike, you might have gone with the ST. By the time you add a different fairing, saddlebags, and shocks, you will have close to the difference between an S and an ST invested.

Have you confirmed the ride is too stiff vs your are bottoming out the shock? My old Street Bob was really harsh. At first I thought it was set to stiff. I started digging around and realized it was actually set too soft and was bottoming out constantly. Honestly felt a little stupid not realizing the difference. I tightend up the shock and it helped, but that bike never rode great. My LRST however rides pretty nice. I'm about the same weight as you. Shock is set to 1.5.

@$tonecold I didn't want to go with a fix fairing and I bought my bike used, it was a good deal, will see later to change the shock...
@Biggzed Thanks for the input, I don't think my bike is bottoming, I find it rough on some small impact, but I will try to set it on 1 instead on 0...

2025 Low Rider S part number 34000393
If the length is the same, what is rhe difference, is the the Heriiatge shock more smooth ?
I will certainly upgrade to an aftermarket one...
Difference is probably just the preload adjuster.
The heritage has the adjuster mounted by the battery and can be changed by hand with the **** without removing anything. The low rider has the adjuster under the seat so you need to remove the seat and you'd need a wrench to adjust preload.

My buddy has a '25 Heritage, and his adjuster is exactly like my '25 LowRider S. He has to remove the seat to adjust his preload the same way...there is no "****". Are you sure you're not thinking of one of the baggers?
