Default Wheel speed sensor

So after changing my front pads and fluid and swapping bars with extensions I'm getting a C1032 code. Before I start looking at the wiring could I possibly put the sensor in backwards or does it only go one way?

That is the right orientation. Double check that you got the extension seated fully into the connector.

Actually the sensor is the only thing I didn't need to extend but Ill pull that damn boot off and make sure it's completely seated. The boot was a pita to get back on with all the extensions.

Pulled the connector and it looked good. Plugged it back in and cleared the code and it came right back. The weird thing is I haven't even ridden the bike yet. It's throwing the code while parked.

I noticed you’re using an aftermarket device to read codes. Have you tried accessing the code from the bike by holding down the odometer reset button while turning on the ignition switch, then clear the code?

Did it and moved the bike a foot and it came back on.

The code was showing?
You cleared the code?
What came back on? The ABS light?

It's possible the sensor was damaged when you put it back together.
People have crushed the sensor overtorquing when they put the wheel back on.
If it refuses to stop throwing codes, it's probably just damaged.
