Harley windsplitter windshield

Hi to all, I'm 5 ft 9 and have the stock mini apes on my Street Bob 2026, should I take the 14 inch or the 18 inch windshield from Harley to minimize buffeting ?

I'm 6'4". 2019 Softail Slim. I bought Harley's 21 inch windshield. I can see over it but it's a little on the high side. After a couple years, I bought a 19 inch from Freedom Shields. I run the shorter one, spring, summer and fall. I switch to the 21 inch in the winter. If I could only have one, it would be the 19 inch.
In your case, I would guess you'd be good with the 14 inch. Of course this is all just a wild guess. As far as the 18 inch, the Heritage has that stock. I know, not the same bike but it would give you an idea. At a minimum, you need to be able to look over the top of the windshield.

That being said, what I found got rid of buffeting was a set of lowers from Memphis Shades.
After having the windshield for some time, I finally figured out the wind causing the buffeting was coming from under the windshield.
