squeaking front shocks
my 24 SG has been at the dealership for a week now while they investigate but I noticed after a ride that when I was maneuvering my bike in my garage that the front shocks were squeaking badly. anyone else experience this? i'm still waiting to here back what they are going to do once the dealership hears back from the mothership. they wanted video to show the issue.

INTUITIVELY, I suspect that both O rings and dust seals in the front suspension are immune to oil since that is what is inside the tubes and will eventually start to seep or leak. I had a rubber squeak there on my 08 Road King and silicone spray seemed to do the trick. At least back then, WD 40 was prone to make a sticky mess after the carrier evaporated.

I've had the issue on several of my Harley's over the years (starting with my 75 FX). Always sounded like springs were squeaking when being compressed. Always just lived with it.

2024 Street Glide with 650 miles. The front suspension has been squeaking since the first day I brought it home. I had at the dealer last Friday to do the ECM update and mentioned it to the technician and his response was: "Maybe we can apply some WD-40". I said "No Thank You".
Waiting, hopefully there will be a proper fix from Harley in the near future.

If I hold the front brake and rock the bike back and forth with the motor not running I do hear a slight squeak from the front shocks. But it's inaudible when I'm riding with the motor and wind/road noise.

Exactly, but there should not be any squeaking, period. It's unacceptable for any 2024 vehicle, let alone a Harley Davidson Touring bike.
