I've not been able to put many miles on my bike this year and am considering selling so it isn't a garage queen. It deserves to be ridden more. Currently sitting around 7,000 miles. Trying to put a price on it at the moment.
I was glad to see this thread again. We miss seeing you riding. I was considering selling my RG with my recent health issues that have me sidelined. Reality is the market is tough right now.
How are you doing, are you back in Texas?
I hope all gets sorted out for the best.
Wishing you a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
he just needs to trade his Batwing in for a Shark and it'll rejuvenate his spirit for riding joking aside, we all gotta' do what makes most sense at times .. I can't imagine my life without a motor cycle..it'd definitely have to be a last resort decision to try and solve whatever the 'problem' was that was making me consider it
Like Brandon is considering, I’ve sold bikes when moving on. Sold dirt bikes to get sport bike, sold sport bike to get sport tourer, sold that to get Harleys and back and forth (too many times). I wish I had the money, time and space for a few at a time. I can say that I’ve NEVER NOT REGRETTED letting any of them go. I’ve bought back the same (style/class) bike over and over again. If you can swing keeping your bike, Brandon, I would. The garage queen will be happy to be reunited with you when your situation changes. Whatever happens, I’ve always benefitted from and enjoyed your help and comments here and your videos. I hope you’ll stick around. Bike or not

Is this the only bike you have Brandon? If so, hang on to it. The itch to ride is a hard thing to get rid off.
HD has some great offers and pricing on new bikes, and it has made the used market very soft. If someone is going to finance, it would be cheaper for them to buy a new bike because of the incentives HD currently has on new bikes... e.g., 2% interest on a new bike vs. >10% on a used bike (pay ~$350/mo for a new bike, or ~$450/mo for a used bike). So that impacted my ability to sell a little, and I got a little less for it.
I will be selling a few parts I kept like the Saddlemen seat, Legend Revo-A shocks, tourpack, and a couple other small things. I'll post links to the classifieds here when I can get things listed for sale.
