Building a 2024 Road Glide for Long Distance Efficiency
Now, time to build it. I am impressed with it in its stock form. From building out my 2022 Fat Boy, I do have a few things I would like to replace in the RG for reliability. For example, I want to put in the SE Oil pump/cam plate. I will swap out some of the plastic bits for aluminum. I found the stock sound extremely suitable for distance. I did not fatigue out at all. I will investigate the mix to see if it is running too lean. I was pretty happy with the mpg, but I would be happier with a happy engine.
I would like to improve the airflow in, and out. Are there any suggestions from the forum on high flow exhausts that are not loud when at highway speeds?
