Default Tall boys installed 24 SG

I am trying to work out a small problem.

But if your contemplating doing them because the stock bars are too low and close to the fairing, my who the hell cares suggestion is do it now.
it makes the bike much more comfortable. And when your comfortable, you can handle the bike betier.

The bar ends on the KW Sweepers that are not yet avaliable for these new models are better for hand position but just slightly.

I'm sitting upright and there is a natural slight bend at the elbow.

I'm 5'8" with 30" inseam. I have a Mustang with backrest on the bike. Although I would really prefer the Ultimate, also not yet available.

Default Clutch cable

Did you keep the stock clutch cable?

I installed a couple weeks ago, and they are very comfortable. No extensions needed for anything. Just have to straighten out some of the bends in the clutch cable and remove the clutch and brake line retainers on the triple tree.

What's great is you don't have to remove the whole fairing, just the dash panel and the outer fairing shell.

I documented this in my thread here: Brandon's 2024 FLHX - Page 5 - Harley Davidson Forums (hdforums.com)

Tallboys meant something different when I was a kid. Might need a couple for the cold numb hands.

For me,the mustang touring seat raised me up. Rode for years like that though. Hated it,but got used to it. Eye sight right at edge of windshield

I have been doing a lot of searching since picking the bike up last weekend.
I thought about the TB's but they are 1" and have a large pull back. I sat on a SG in the Dealer that had the Fused and I liked those but they are 14" rise.

I had the six bend KST on my 2011 and liked those but the Patriot KST are only 34" wide and I don't like the style of the hooked bar they make.

At 6'-5" I need a wide bar with little pull back.

I’d take a look at Wild1 bars. They are awesome. Or LA Choppers Twin Peaks.

Looks like neither of them do the 2024 FLHX.

I’m 6’4 same problem here. Try factory 47, they have an s series for the 24 models and they have less pullback than the stock setup. They have a set of these on a bike in the shop where I bought the bike. It is a little better. If you like the round style they will be available at some point. I don’t love the pointed style myself.

Thanks, I saw those but they don't list pull back and they look like they have a pretty good amount.
As you mentioned, they only have a meat hook style.
