Default KW Ergo Pull Backs VS WO 575 Bars

Looking at one or the other of these bars to replace the OEM bars on my Street Glide. I've read every thread I can find here including all 23 pages of the sticky on handlebars. Then searched every internet site I can find. I may have over done it....having trouble pulling the trigger now. Know for sure stock bars have to go.

Looks like both claim to have 2" more pullback than stock and are 2" taller than stock.

Best I can tell the differences between the two are:

1. KW is more expensive ($50. or so)
2. KW appears to be 1/2 wider at center and overall wingspan
3. Grip angle is straight on the KW and and angled in on the WO.

Anybody see other differences? Looks like you might get away with leaving fairing mirrors on with the WO 575 and not with the KW which I don't understand if the numbers are so close.

All that said...I'd really appreciate hearing from a few folks who have each one and their thoughts and or pics. I am 5'8 and have a Mustang Solo with backrest on the bike. With current bars I have pain just below my neck on even fairly short rides and really have to lean forward, not allowing good us of my backrest.

Thanks All.

I've got the 575's on my 08 SG. I love them. I lowered mine so when my hands are on the grips I still have a full field of vision in my fairing mirrors. I got the most pull back from them and the height was good. I'm 5'7 by the way. I didn't have a pain issue before just felt like I was always hanging on the bars. I have a C&C Fastback seat and the 575's seems to have cured that problem. Hope this helps

Thanks Overdoo. Been leaning toward the 575's. I have WO's on my Heritage and have been pretty happy with them. Put this message out as a last step...don't want to invest in the bars, clutch cable and the install fee and find out it wasn't enough pullback or high enough to make me comfortable and allow for use of the backrest.

Thanks again for responding.

You may want to take a look at the brand new wo578 bars from Chubby Wild 1, I just pick a set on my 2004 FLHTCSE and they look and feel great.

They did require +4 throttle cables, front brake line and clutch cable. But the results are worth the few extra $$$'s to me.

Dig it, the other KW is a lot cheaper, I got the +2s, but just ordered the 2+2s; limited production and I got one of the last 3 sets available. will report on the product when I get 'em installed and ride a little with them.

Fab,

let me know how you like the 2+2's, I am thinking about getting them. Hope KW makes another batch of them.

Thanks

I liked the looks of the Khrome Werks 1 1/4" Fat Ape Hanger bars. They don't look any cheaper than what I found I found the 575's for on Amazon...but I like em'.

Couldn't tell from their site what the height and pullback difference from OEM SG bars is. Anybody know?
