I just encountered this dilemma. Same as @barneyboy , I have a two-piece CVO seat. I would like to keep the seat, but I didn't realize how much I will miss the backrest. I do not want to buy one piece. On my previous bike (2019), I had a beautiful custom LaPera Montgomery seat made with backrest. It was awesome. Unfortunately, it does not fit my current bike. I reached out to them if there are plans on making it for 2024 models and they said they are going to but do not have a solid timeframe yet.
@memphisharley where is that backrest from? That could potentially work

i believe this is the only style that fits the 2 piece seats as I have this on my 12 flhx.
I had this setup on my 2023 Road King. When I traded it in on my 24 Road Glide CVO ST, I put the OEM seat back on the Road King and kept the 2 piece seat with the backrest. I tried to figure out how to make the backrest work on the new 2024 models and it will not. I had to buy the Bad Boyz Cyclez seat in order to have a backrest on my 2024 CVO.
no issues. i have been using it for 3 years. it's a solid setup.
Excellent! Thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for. I reached out to them to see if they are planning on doing 2025 model seat since the pattern is little different than 2024. Worst case, I will just get the 2024 style.
