Anyone install a HD adjustable backrest on a 2024 CVO Street Glide with stock seat. The fitment on website claims it fits bike but without slotted one piece seat, I can’t see how.
The fitment for the adjustable rider backrest mount says,
"Fits '09-later Touring models equipped with one-piece slotted seat (except '21-later FLH, '23-later FLHFB and '25-later FLTRXRRSE). Does not fit Trike models. Required to install Adjustable Rider Backrest."
Can you post a screenshot of where it says it only fits without a slotted seat?
I installed the adjustable rider backrest on my 2024 (non-CVO) Street Glide with the stock slotted one-piece seat and it works just fine. I wouldn't think that the CVO would be much different.
as you can see, it doesn’t include the slotted seat condition when entering the bike for fitment. I don’t see how it could fit without it. I will have to change seat as 24 CVO I has a 2 piece seat. Thanks for posting.

I don't know what the issue is. Obviously, you can't have a solid one-piece seat without a slot, but why would there be an issue with a 2-piece seat? The fitment says that it fits. The installation instructions specifically give instructions for 2023.5+ CVO and 2024+ non-CVO bikes as well.

I believe the issue is the two threaded studs in the fender are used to mount the bracket.
Those same studs are used to mount the solo seat and passenger pillion.
While the bracket will technically fit the bike, once it's mounted, the solo seat/passenger pillion can no longer be mounted.
@mjwebb don't you know someone that has a CVO/solo seat with the adjustable rider backrest?
I think hers is a fixed one but don’t remember. She doesn’t take passengers so has her tour pak adjusted forward so it almost reaches the rider backrest
