I'm 100% the opposite..I don't have highway pegs by choice..on the rare occasion I need to stretch my legs for a few minutes I just rest my boots on the engine guard..I prefer my feet to be by their controls and ready to instinctively operate them for safety reasons..the 1 or 2 seconds it takes having to relocate to them could be an eternity when it comes to averting / avoiding bad situations

Highway pegs are a huge help when you need to stretch your legs on a long ride. I usually install them where I can have 3 different resting points. The floorboards, floorboards for the heel and the pegs for the toe or just the pegs.

Footboards from the 2024-25 touring bikes fit the 2016's (and many years actually) so I would think aftermarket forwards from 2016 would fit the new ones. So not totally different. And first world problems are subjective.

The seat was changed, they are not interchangeable. This changes the position of the rider and therefore, the answer. At 6'1" I'm not cramped on a 2015. I'm a bit cramped on a 2025.

And I don't believe first world problems are subjective.. they're silly things only comfortable people find problems..

Thread Starter was specifically referring to forward controls, which I addressed. And I gave information he probably would find useful. What's your issue?
